99 Accord. Heathermist.
Clearcoat is disapearing from roof, trunk lid and hood. No rust.
I live in Florida and car is out all the time [no garage].
What can be done apart from total respray?

Not unusual for an unprotected Florida car, especially if it has not been waxed - has it? It's 8 years old, after all.

If it's starting to lose its finish you don't have too many choices.
