2000 jimmy having problems w/ oil pressure gage

About two weeks ago, my Jimmy's oil gages stopped going back to zero when I cut off the engine. I can leave it parked in the garage for over 24 hours, and still the needle barely moves, and none of the other gages are doing this. A friend told me it could be the fuses, but I just moved here from Alabama and dont have a trusted mechanic yet and dont want to spend a lot of money. Has anyone else had this problem with their Jimmy?

Turn on the ignition, ground the tan/white wire at the oil pressure sensor. The gauge should sweep to full scale. If it does, the gauge is fine and the oil pressure sensor is suspect. If it doesn't, the wiring and/or instrument cluster are suspect.
