Oil comeing out of lower ICP

I was looking around under my hood today and I spotted some oil comeing out of the coupler holding the intercooler and the lower ICP together. I guess my question is this a problem and if it is how do I fix it??

I'm gonna assume that you don't have white smoke out of the exhaust (bad seals in the turbo)... Over time, it is normal for oil to line the intercooler, pipes, and intake manifold...
I suggest removing the intercooler and associated piping, and soaking it in gasoline for a bit... then clean it out really good (don't want a fire)...
For the intake manifold and throttlebody, I might suggest carb cleaner... it is made to do this job...
After doing this, you may notice the car to run better, or at least have a little more pep and a little less lag...

This should be in Problem Diagnosis rather than Performance...
Also, its just a matter of time and seals wearing out that causes that. It coats the inside of your intercooler and just makes it less efficient. You can clean it up but I can tell you that it will all be gummed up again in a matter of a few weeks probably. :2cents:

Actually, this could be (and probably is) not because of bad turbo seals. Know that valve cover breather hose that goes from your valve cover to the intake tube? Oil drains throw that into the intake, throught the compressor side of the turbo, then down the LICP and into the IC. Appearantly, you just have a shit load of oil in there. I would take the LICP and the SMIC off, wash out the LICP out good and let it dry really good, then soak the SMIC in degreaser and let it dry out really well. Then get yourself a catch can to get rid of oil before it goes into your intake. Problem solved.

So it normal to loose oil ? I loose very little oil every week, so I have to add oil every week, this is normal right ? I have no leak, mabe a very tiny leak from valve cover.

Yup, its pretty normal to lose a bit of oil. I think its sort of normal, no matter what car you drive, to lose like 1/2 - 1 quart of oil every 3k miles. The Cavy only has ~35k and she loses a quart every 4k (I run 5k mile engine oil).

It's not normal to "lose" oil, but after you get ~2500-3000 miles on the car, the oil starts to break down and will start to "burn." Not like in a car with worn rings, but that's technically why you lose oil.
Killer, if you have to add oil every week, then either you have a leak somewhere or you're burning some oil. Does it smoke at all out the exhaust?

No smoke, I have valve cover leak, I gonna fix it in a few week.
