Last 2006 projects (SLR and Carrera Gt Fullview)Jaimenew 10-25-2006, 03:38 PM Hi, These are my last projects for 2006. Tamiya Mclaren SLR and Porsche Carrera GT (Clear edition) I started both at same time and I hope finish them early 2007. These are some picts of these kits. GT Clear model will require great detail so it seen well through clear body. I also have Ferrari F50 Fullview and CLK GTR Full view. Really I like these clear models. (See my AF gallery member) SLR will be black or dark blue color. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/112023DSC00279.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/112023DSC00280.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/112023DSC00301.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/112023DSC00303.JPG clear rims, (kit includes set chrome and clear rims) http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/112023DSC00304.JPG clear body http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/112023DSC00309.JPG DSM-Mark 10-25-2006, 04:57 PM Pardon my ignorance, but where do you find a clear view (Full View) CGT? I've checked 1999.co.jp and hlj.com but neither of them seem to indicate it. EDIT: I found my answer. Limited edition, already discontinued. Congratulations on getting one! I know you'll do it proud. I'm so jealous that my building skills aren't up to snuff to even THINK about getting myself a clear-view kit. Enzoenvy1 11-07-2006, 05:27 PM SO, do you have to polish the body or clear it or what? I have never done one of these yet and am wondering. Jaimenew 11-07-2006, 06:39 PM No polish, no paint. Clear plastic has a good shine. This is my Fullview F50 completed months ago. MB CLK completed years ago. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/112023DSC00699a-med.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/112023DSC00681a.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/112023DSC00157a.JPG Enzoenvy1 11-08-2006, 04:07 PM Very nice, need one of those too now!
