McLaren F1 Meets Road Grader in MontanaSauc3 10-25-2006, 06:11 AM On August the 18th I was sitting in the motel room in Monterey, California. That day I'd been to Concorso, a couple trips to Pebble and plenty of sightings in and around the area. Dinner had been devoured, and before going to sleep I was reading through a few magazines to see what I had. Imagine my surprise when I found an article regarding #022 in Sports Car Market. The following scans are the 2 page article, which answers a lot of the questions adressed in this thread. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=577170 The pictures are lifted from the scans when they were at higher resolution. http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/37/022article1ky6.th.jpg (http://img133.imageshack.us/my.php?image=022article1ky6.jpg)http://img92.imageshack.us/img92/3867/022article2hi9.th.jpg (http://img92.imageshack.us/my.php?image=022article2hi9.jpg) http://img224.imageshack.us/img224/342/022rearsj6.th.jpg (http://img224.imageshack.us/my.php?image=022rearsj6.jpg)http://img224.imageshack.us/img224/8364/022rear2ik0.th.jpg (http://img224.imageshack.us/my.php?image=022rear2ik0.jpg)http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/7862/022roadtl3.th.jpg (http://img217.imageshack.us/my.php?image=022roadtl3.jpg) Enjoy. F1 monster 10-25-2006, 11:15 AM Great read. Many thanks! Anyone know who owned 022 immediately before him? mini magic 10-25-2006, 11:33 AM Wycef Jean ArchangelGTR 10-25-2006, 11:35 AM Good find. Entertaining read. hurstg01 10-25-2006, 11:44 AM I would like to echo what was written above "good find, entertaining read" Cheers  payso 10-25-2006, 12:40 PM top man, good stuff :) Peloton25 10-25-2006, 01:02 PM I was going to blame you for choosing an overly sensational thread title, until I noticed that was the title of the article in the mag. :uhoh: Nice work Daan the Man. >8^) ER Le Man 10-25-2006, 01:52 PM Ace find Daan  Great read,......Any F1 owner up for some rallycross next :evillol: hurstg01 10-26-2006, 07:37 AM more of the same here (http://www.sportscarmarket.com/articles/archives/860) (Cheers Erik   ) F1 monster 10-26-2006, 03:55 PM 150 mile detour would have taken less than 2 hours, would have been a lot more enjoyable, and would have resulted in less damage to the paint. And it's not like he was in a hurry. Oh well, there would have been no story then. Noddy 10-26-2006, 09:31 PM Wycef Jean So I'm assuming that Wyclef is the "unsympathetic hands" referred to in the article? There's more to this but not that can be shared on a public forum - and, no, not by pm either. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
