Nice... does kinda look like a baby skyline :D

What are those numbers on your rear window on the drivers side? It looks like the first one says 20, and the second pic says 40? *shrugs* maybe i'm just seeing things.

Just need some sorta widebody kit thingy in the rear and it would look perfect :)... anyone make a widebody kit for spec v's yet?

kick ass ride man, you got some nice taste, looks pretty sweet...
it looks clean and not ricy,

As for me i will be getting a CF hood pretty soon, i'm waiting on the shipper....What do you think of this guys, a CF hood on blackout?

i know it will look practically the same but i think it'll still look really good when people come close and look at the car

I really appreciate the compliments guys. I'm just really trying to give our cars a good name. I guess I'm off to a good start. Oh and the numbers on the windows are numbers from when I went to the track. They number you car when you get there. I was a little disapointed, my best time was only like a 15.2, 15.33@ 86mph.:( But anyway, I guess I need more practice. So you think it looks like a little babyskyline huh? That's my whole plan, especially when they start really making good bodykits for it. I would love to make it a little skyline. Right now my plan is just to make it look simple, ya know. Plus I have always loved black and white.

Oh yeah I think that Idea with the carbon fiber hood on a black car is gonna look sweet as hell. My boy has one on his integra. The only bad thing is that once night comes, you really can't see it. But that's only it's like picth black. Good luck.

looks hot man. all you need is some side skirts and your car is complete. How much did you pay to powercoat the wheels?

babyskyline
09-09-2002, 04:13 PM
Yeah I know what you mean about the side skirts, I also need a nice back bumper. I'm just to picky I guess, I don't like the stuff that they have for it now. Like STILLEN, I love their performance stuff but as far as body kit wise NAWW. My boy bought the STILLEN front lip, I will admitt it does look pretty nice and it fit like a champ but I'm just gonna wait. VIS is currently making a whole body kit so I'm gonna wait see how they do. I paid like $140 for all four wheels to get powder coated.

Oh yeah for anyone who is thinking of gettting a DGmotorsports CF hood, they fit like a champ. The only thing you MIGHT have to adjust are those black rubber things when you close the hood but other than that it fit right on like a stock hood. Good luck:D :D

Nice setup! My DGM CF hood comes in this week. Should be nice on my Aztec Red Spec V. What did you do to the washer nozzles? I was going to drill the holes out on mine. I need my washer nozzles!

09-09-2002, 07:06 PM
Oh man that's really gonna look good with the red one, just look at the Import Tuner Magazine and there you go. I didn't do anything with the washer nozzels. Don't need them really to much, unless I really need them then I will probably do the same. Peace out:cool:

Hey SER
I really appreciate the compliment bro. I don't think I'm anybody's roll model, like I said before though...I'm really just trying to give our cars a good name and I am determined to do that and this is only the beggining. Wait about like another 6 months when really nice ishh comes out for our cars. The only stuff that's going into it is nothing but the best. Companies like STILLEN, NISMO, and when they come out BLITZ, JUN, HKS, APEXI, ETC....I got the hood from dgmotorsports or go to www.dgmotorsports.com. I paid $700 all together, that includes the shipping. It took exactly five days. I'm telling you man......it took all but like ten minutes to put on and then your ready to go. It fit like a champ. Didn't really have to adjust anything. Good luck to you all:cool:

Hey SentraFi,
Tell me again how you put your cars picture as apart of your signature. I wanna put the picture I took of my car outside as mine. Thanks:)

Hey TeamjxticSpecV, this is how I post up my pics. First off do you have a Digital camer? Well if you do, I download them onto the computer and then when you are getting ready to post a new thread or reply. Click the browse icon and then your pics should come up or something should come up where you can get to them, and the click the one you want and then just hit the submit reply or new thread button. Hope this helps you. Good luck.:smoka:

:sun: what up guys, im new at this site, I sport a 2002 Blackout spec V.
I must say i love babyskylines car. Where did you get that kit?? I love it. I really like the hood, and i plan on ordering it, even though my cars black. Do you know how much less weight it is than the OEM hood.???
Anyway, im out. Oh yea, what do you guys think of the VRS piping without the muffler, and then a seperate APEX muffler bolted on to that? it would be cheaper than the stromung.

What's up doctaCspecV,
Hey man I got the front bumper from www.import-trader.com, it was only like $250. I don't know if they are still selling it for that price now but check it out and see. The hood.....I don't really know how much more lighter it is than the stock hood, but you'll notice the difference when you get it. Honestly, about the piping. I personally don't think it's a bad idea, because I was gonna do the same thing. Meaning, buy a name brand muffler....APEXI, GREEDY, HKS, ETC..... and then have this one company customize the piping. This guy I know in Dallas can do that for me, he built his own Sylvia, it's an older style. He can do the same kind of work that the companies do when they make cat-backs for the cars. But I'm gonna probably wait until they come out.

Thanks man, i went to the sight, but it had an error on the page of the bumper. I also saw i a rear bumper kit, with the same error, do you know what that one looks like??? Also, i cant really tell from the angle of your pic, but is the front bumper even with the factory side skirts??? Cuz if it is, i really dont think it needs new side skirts. A rear bumper i think is a must, and i think i may be investing in one. Someone said the rear stillen lip looked nice on black, but i havent seen any pics. Anyway, thanks for the info, peace.

babyskyline

What's up man,
Yes the front bumper is pretty much even with the side skirts so I don't see any reason to buy any, plus there really aren't any nice ones out there yet in my opinion. The rear bumper on the that auto-trader.com site is alright. I really didn't care to much for the Stillen body kit. But then when my boy put his front lip on his car it didn't look to bad, so don't hold that to me. I don't know how the rear lip is gonna look. Good luck.

I was just wondering where you got your rims powder coated. I live in NY so if you knew of any places that i could go I would appreciate it.
Also your car looks tight.

Yo what up bro,
You can go to any powder coating place or you can check out and see if any body shops will do it. When my boy went to get his rims powder coated for his WRX, he got it done at a PAINT & BODY shop. What part of NY do you live at. I'm here in NJ right now visiting my mother. Good luck:D

Yeah man your your car is lookin real tight. Did you order the hood directly from dgm or did you get it from somone else? My spec is a blackout also and i was worried it would'nt look that good on my ride. I was thinking about painting it as soon as i got it but we'll see what happens.

Hey... all you need now is the tailight conversion and you're set!

how much you think that'll cost? hehe, that's cool that you decided to take this route, cuz in the beginning when i wanted the spec-v with no doubts that was my initial plan also. (SCREW THE PROTOGE) i'm going to continue with my plans for the little skyline. I hope to catch up to you and one day roll with ya. (only thing, different is i'm gonna shoot for the R34 look. I live in houston so it that day may come! hehe

Keep up the amazing work!
