anyones seen this show? cuz it sucks mad ass. the reporters on it know nothing at all about cars and it shows. and man do they get on your nerves. so far after 6 shows that i have seen. i have seen 1 nissan on it. a GTR. other than that it is all hondas. and there was a civic with a BMW conversion. how fucking gay. but not as bad as a S14 conversion for a civic.

yeah i caught it tonite for like the second time, i mean whatever its a start maybe a show like it will come along and not be sponsored by ford, and not be completely brand biased but for now whatever its tv exec's reconginzing that theres a market for an import tuner video magazines here in the us. and like i said thats a good start even on a channel completely and hopelessly devoted to nascar

yeah I agree. I've seen that show and it does suck. I stopped watching it about a month ago it was so bad.

yeah the show is horrible. there is only one good thing that is coming from that show. if is the fact that it is showing the public that the import scene is moving to bigger and better things. but til then we are stuck with crap.

That's true. Hi-Rev tuners is the only show (that I know of) focused on the import scene that is shown on TV. I think the show would be WAY better if they didn't just show the exterior of the car and talk about it's body. I mean some of that is ok but that's almost all they talk about. If they could get the owners to actually talk about their cars engine and stuff like what kind of power it's putting out, how much time they spent on it and stuff like that then it would be a lot better of a show IMO. The only time I hear them talk about the engines is when they are saying something like "check out this cool intake" and there will be a nice big turbo sitting there. Why can't they talk about something besides the intakes? That show just got old to me after the first couple times I saw it. I'm waiting for NOPI Tuner Vision to start on september 22nd. They will be showing footage from their car shows/drag races this season. Hopefully it's a little better than Hi-Rev Tuners. reason why they only talk about the body is cuz there is nothing under the hood...i have seen a few with turbos and superchargers but other than that there is nothing there but alot of rice.

actually i dont know what JDM actually stands for. but i doubt that it is "direct". but who knows. all i know is that jdm versions of our 240's are turbo and called silvia. and actaully alot of jdm cars are way better than what we have here. i hate that.

one thing i would like to see more about is, besides more go than show, is anything but a honda. i mean my god a civic is a freaking civic. wow it has rims and a hood...why it has a new grill...gay it has a silvia front end or even a bmw front end. lets see some nissans, wrx's, mitsubs (not ecplise...F & F over glorified them), how about supras, mr2's, and rx7's. something more than a civic. but anyways i hope that what those guys emailed back is true...that they are going to make a change...they need new reporters badly...get rid of the blonde chick she belongs in a porno cuz she acts stupid and shows that she doesnt know the difference between 205/45 tires or 210/40 tires. so drop her and get someone with some personality and not some card readers.

i'm watching the new hi-rev for this week....they just said they've shown alot of hondas in the past and are going to show us alot of imports from other companies too in the future...started out with a nissan sentra...

another piece of crap...that all is what the "new" hi rev tuners show is all about. they started off with a nissan sentra with a sr20 motor (i dont know too much about them) but the guy had no clue on what the motor was all about. and then they concentraded more on the stereo than what makes that car tick. then they went to the bullshit is300 which is no different than the one here...and the girl was all happy that they guy added the plastic sticker that said "altezza". big fucking wow. well then they had to top it all off with another ricer civic that had a is300 fornt end. more and more bullshit is piling up. so if this is the new direction that the show is going...it is horrible...say goodbye to the reporters...PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think they make it up as they go along. seriously. especially the guy. he's always stuttering or stumbling about what he's going to say.

one more thing i noticed...the blonde chick got into a car(don't remember what it was)...it had 2 gauges on the A pillar and a monster tach on the dash right below them and she says "these three tachs take care of monitoring the engine"
