02 Cav - radio stays on when door opens

2002 Cavalier Z24 - After shutting off the car and opening the driver's door, shouldn't the radio automatically shut off. Instead, mine is staying on (and maybe even some other options) and draining my battery! Help! Thanks!

Your door switch is gone. Mine went and so did my other friends that have these cars. Mine is a Sunfire. It seems to be always the drivers side, the one that is mostly used.
