Hi,
My '97 Honda Accord has 135k miles and I wanted to know if it is necessary to get a 135k service. I had my 120k service done and was wondering if I should just wait until the 150k mile service.
Thanks,
swb1

Every car owner has his own thoughts about services to perform on their cars.
I personaly preffer 3,000 miles oil changes and 30,000 ATF and spark plugs.
The very important part is a timing belt. I think on your vehicle it suppose to be changed at 90,000.
What have you had done at 120,000?

Yes, depends on what was done at 120K. Timing belt , hoses/belts, fluid changes, etc are critical items, other things like spark plugs are not as important, but may affect your milage or performance. If you hear a noise or suspect a problem, best to get it checked.

I am not sure exactly what was done, but I got it done at the dealer, so whatwever was recommended. For sure, I know that the timing belts and water pump have been changed. I am guessing that the spark plugs were changed. How often should spark plugs be changed??

If you still have the reciet all the services should be listed there. If you do not, try to go to the dealer. They should have it recorded on their computer.
The cheap spark plugs will serve you about 30,000 miles. The good ones up to 100,000.
