1.- Page 57 - Nick Masons column. OK, we all know he owns Chassis #010R, its well documented on here and on other sites on the internet. We also know of Tony Smith, Chassis #020's owner. I have often wondered what would happen if 2 F1 owners were together having a chat, would they raise the F1 in conversation? I quote "So i'm sitting on board a Boeing 747 on the way to Los Angeles.... One passenger in particular happens to be Tony Smith - successful historic racer, manager of Phil Collins and Genesis and now film producer.....We've discussed the old car market, Ferraris in particular...."
Nothing, nothing about them both owning F1's and comparing stories and no piccies either :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

2.-Page 96 - On the front cover is a small ipc of Jay with a headline - JAY LENO On the road and in his workshop - A 6 page spread on 'A Day with Jay Leno' and only one small mention of his F1 (in addition to a very small sentence in his column on page 55 "Gas to run out in 5 years. But just in case i am alive when it does, i have a plan about what i would do with the last few drops - I would do a modern day version of the movie Vanishing Point with my Mclaren F1. Instead of hitting the bullldozer at 108mph like they did in the movie, i would be able to hit it at 241.8mph2 - god knows where he got that number from...:screwy: ) - "Thats why i dont like the Bugatti Veyron. It is just like a jet, fast but not thrilling, unlike my Mclaren F1, which is light and finessed and exhilarating to drive"

Not even a picture of his F1 :disappoin We all know how much he loves cars, but i just hoped he would expand on his feelings on his F1 ownership.

Perhaps i should be a journalist instead of boring Solicitor dealings.....:wink:
