Checked the voltage to the back of the pin at the ECU and have 12.8v. Replaced the ECU. Started fine twice, then wouldn't start.:banghead: Also replaced the Hall Effect Generator. Getting frustrated and my teenage daughter wants her car back now. HELP stompin60 10-23-2006, 01:24 PM Check your ground wire, from battery to the block!!!! This has happened to me on a Ranger. squidlips 10-23-2006, 05:37 PM Checked my battery to engine, battery to body, and engine to body grounds. All tight and relatively clean. Any other ideas? zager77 10-23-2006, 10:00 PM try geting a new atomatic shutdown relay ther like $6 squidlips 10-24-2006, 11:41 AM try geting a new atomatic shutdown relay ther like $6 Huh? Are you talking aboout the relay that shuts down the fuel in case of a rollover? Even so, what's up with the code 12? squidlips 01-30-2007, 03:25 PM So, this car sat for 3 months. Tried it yesterday and it started right up. I cleaned up all the grounds, just to be sure, now it won't start again. Code 11,12,33,55. AGAIN. I really could use some help. I'll sell it as is otherwise. measuretwice 07-02-2007, 11:36 PM well if you are asking what the codes are, 11 is "no distributor reference signal detected during cranking" check your connections at the distributor and the computer. 12 is simply that you have disconnected power to the computer in the last 50 start ups. And you can't just start the car 50 times to clear this. 33 is your puzzler, "air conditioner clutch relay circuit. An open or shorted condition detected in the air conditioning clutch relay circuit." Try disconnecting the electrical to the compressor and check the voltage while someone tries to start the car. and 55 is the easy one, that is just telling you that there are no more error codes, so you can stop writing them down. Hope that helped. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
