I want to tune it up but have no idea what to get first. Someone told me to get an intake system and exhaust first should i and will it help out much. AccordCodger 10-20-2006, 09:17 PM I suggest you start reading some of the threads here. Your questions have been asked and discussed at length many times. Do some legwork on your own, and then ask some questions, and I know you'll get some help. somick 10-21-2006, 01:16 PM As a rule of thumb on a new/used vehicle change fluids, make sure distributor cap, wires and plug are good. On the instrucions on that do search like Accordcodger told you. And yes if you have any questions come back and I am sure somebody will help you. Good luck! Not a computer chip, it is may be considered as "performance chip". Never used. If you're interested, let me know. Also, I have AEM Hi-Flow Fuels Rails for 1994 - 1997 Honda Accord. Brand new and never used. For 4CYL by the way. If you're looking to lower your car, I have the Tein SS Damper kit, I would like to trade it with the OEM suspension kit (oem complete suspension kit). Please reply to this post or send me an email to: jason.t.luong050696@gmail.com Descriptions for the AEM Hi-Flow Fuels Rails: AEM High Volume Fuel Rails feature a 1/2-inch fuel bore capable of flowing enough fuel to support most high-horsepower applications. This large bore also dampens back pulses created by larger injectors, and works perfectly with stock injector sizes. An additional 1/8th NTP port is included to accommodate a nitrous set up or fuel pressure gauge. A custom fuel line fitting is included for the factory fuel line, and the ends of the rail are pre-tapped to accept -6 or -8 AN fittings for users with custom fuel lines. Key Features: No additional parts required for installation Specifically engineered for each application O.E. fuel pressure regulator, or AEM adjustable fuel pressure regulator, mounts directly to rail Comprehensive installation instructions, hardware, fittings and injector O-rings included Manufactured and assembled in the USA BNR34_V-SpecII 11-04-2006, 05:20 PM Well i just got my first car about a month ago. He want's to kno if it's stupid to tune his car up with about 194,000 miles on it. I have driven it and it starts up just like mine. it's smooth and looks to be in great shape. Does anyone think he shouldn't. I told him to go ahead but wasn't sure BNR34_V-SpecII 11-17-2006, 08:58 PM Question my friend just got the same exact car i have ironically. Does anyone think he shouldn't. I told him to go ahead but wasn't sure does he plan to have that car for awhile? has he done any basic check-ups at all? i.e. timing belts, spark plugs, etc ... at 194,000, that's pretty an old engine, is he into car tuning at all? make sure don't mess around with the electrial parts, just tune that the car could perform better, for performance-wise, cold air intake system, headers, cam gear(s), SOHC = Single Overhead Cam, DOHC = Dual Overhead Cam, etc ... look-wise: bigger rims, hid kit, carbon fiber hood, etc ... suspension: sports springs, preferably not lowered then 2" (Eibach Sports Springs is perfect, not too aggressively low). strut tower brace (bar), DC Sports is famous, I personally think that APR strut tower brace is better, because it is big and solid. anti-roll (anti-sway) bars, front and rear (Suspension Techniques or Eibach Sports), DC or Skunk2 Rear lower tie brace, rear upper tie brace (DC Sports) ... please, no altezza lights, look nasty. no body kit, no neon lights, no indiglos, no spark plug wire set. still have questions, do reply back, someone will help. 1994 - 1997 5th generation honda accord, most favored accord model. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
