Hi,

First time poster... just found this site. 4 year owner of a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee...

Repeat problems for me...

1) Disk brake vibration
2) Door lock solenoids.

Well, my question is about the door lock solenoids... it makes a terribly annoying noise when I lock/unlock with the keyless remote. (this time, the rear drivers door is the culprit... I think it was the drivers door a couple of years ago)

Anyways, is there a simple fix for this? Maybe lubricant? How easy is this to replace on my own? (last time I took it to a dealer).

any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!!

John

1) Disk brake vibration.

There is a recall for some JGCs for brake pulsation.

2) Door lock solenoids.

It's the actuator failing, I don't think there's anything to lube.

Thanks, Bob!

for the info on both... I will look up to see if my Jeep is recalled for brakes.
