I've got a 93 Villager that developed an oil leak at the rear main seal (the oil dripped out of the bell housing). Uh-oh. This is a big job. Out of desperation I bought some Lucas oil treatment and used it at the next oil change and it got better. Two oil changes later and I'm healed. I've even gotten the courage to park in the driveway! At my oil change I just substituted one quart of Lucas for a quart of my regular Valvoline oil. It's expensive (about $9 per quart) at Autozone, but much cheaper than the alternative. Lots of people swear by it.

I've also had leaks at my oil pressure sending unit. Just replaced it. You need to figure out where the leak is first, then have at it. I've always cringed when I see oil under my vehicle, but it usually is something simple.
