No more Cavy :(01Cavy 10-16-2006, 03:53 PM Yep I got a new ride yesterday... http://gambit.team-nz.com/celica%20001.jpg http://gambit.team-nz.com/celica%20002.jpg http://gambit.team-nz.com/celica%20003.jpg http://gambit.team-nz.com/celica%20004.jpg My cav was having problems and I couldn't stand it anymore. Good thing is the rims I had on the cavy will fit the Celica, so I'm changing them to black and putting them on. Lances133 10-16-2006, 03:59 PM Nice pick up, I'd say it's a definite upgrade. If it was a Gts, I'd be so jealous. I want one of them so f'ing bad. DeadBlade89 10-16-2006, 04:22 PM i want a celica really bad period Lances133 10-16-2006, 04:29 PM I love how the dash flows right into the door panels like that. DeadBlade89 10-16-2006, 04:33 PM ya...the interior has a nice, smooth flow to it. Classicrocjunkie 10-16-2006, 04:53 PM Clean your floors... Lol... should have some fun with that. my99cavy 10-16-2006, 05:34 PM haha I seen you post rome in the celica section....was waiting for your post in this section lol looks very nice man good luck with it and stay in touch :) 01Cavy 10-17-2006, 03:08 AM Clean your floors... Lol... should have some fun with that. I would have cleaned them, and the car itself, but its been raining. The pics I took were just before the rain lol. But yes I am definitely having fun with it lol. my99cavy 10-17-2006, 10:52 AM I bet you like the manual 10x better than auto right? Because I know I sure as hell do lol BabyCavyZ 10-17-2006, 12:38 PM hhah yea manuals are more fun to drive cause u actually get to do sumthin hahah no offense to auto drivers. What year is that celica? And when u plannin on swapping wheels? 01Cavy 10-17-2006, 02:24 PM hhah yea manuals are more fun to drive cause u actually get to do sumthin hahah no offense to auto drivers. What year is that celica? And when u plannin on swapping wheels? YES I love driving the manual! I absolutely refused to get another auto lol. The Celica is an 01, and I'll swap the wheels as soon as possible. I work two jobs, so time is limited for me. Not to mention I have to take them about an hour away to the place that will powder coat them. my99cavy 10-17-2006, 02:27 PM Why do want to have them powder coated black? the gun metal you have looks pretty sweet IMO. NovaRally77 10-17-2006, 02:58 PM Why do want to have them powder coated black? the gun metal you have looks pretty sweet IMO. I second that 01Cavy 10-17-2006, 04:07 PM You know...I was thinking about that too. I'm going to take them out tomorrow before work and see what it'll look like on the car. If it looks good, I'm going to clean them and throw em on! BabyCavyZ 10-17-2006, 05:13 PM yea nice bro, gl wit that, def post pics of it my99cavy 10-17-2006, 05:39 PM Got an idea for ya Rome, throw them on and take a pic and post it up here so we could see what it looks like. 01Cavy 10-18-2006, 04:54 AM Got an idea for ya Rome, throw them on and take a pic and post it up here so we could see what it looks like. They'll be one sometime tomorrow afternoon, and I'll def put some pics up 01Cavy 10-20-2006, 03:55 PM Sorry it took so long... http://gambit.team-nz.com/celica%20007.jpg http://gambit.team-nz.com/celica%20008.jpg Yes some of them are scratched, but I plan on having them fixed whenever I have the time to drive to GA. Lances133 10-20-2006, 04:51 PM That is so nice man, get yourself the Trd bodykit and wing and you're friggin SET! BabyCavyZ 10-20-2006, 05:19 PM very very nice boiiii. i agree wit a kit, not so much the trd but that ones alrite. either way a kit would juss set that shit offffff!!! Has any1 seen the F-1 fenders in person on a car cause i saw them online the other day and they look damn sweet, instead of the z3 fenders. 01Cavy 10-21-2006, 03:20 AM Thanks. I didn't think that gunmetal would work on a silver car at first, but when I got them on I quickly changed my mind. Most silver cars I see either have black or chrome rims on it, so I like that I'm different in that matter too. I haven't decided if I'm going to kit it or not yet. I am thinking of making it a sleeper (with the exception of the rims), but who knows what may happen in the future. Lances133 10-21-2006, 03:32 AM My girl's friend has an 01 Celica Gts, victory red with gunmetal bbs or momo rims, something like that with the Trd kit and trd wing, with a carbon fiber hood, red underglow, exhaust, etc. etc. I want this kid's car so bad, it's completely sick. As for the "sleeper" theory...I don't believe in it. Unless your area has alot of cars that are tricked out cosmetically and mechanically. I don't think people fall for the whole sleeper deal anymore because more people go that route then both tricked out exterior-wise and engine-wise. Don't you think it'd be more surprising to see a car that's like a show car on the outside be like a 10 second car? That's how I see it nowadays. 01Cavy 10-21-2006, 04:31 PM My girl's friend has an 01 Celica Gts, victory red with gunmetal bbs or momo rims, something like that with the Trd kit and trd wing, with a carbon fiber hood, red underglow, exhaust, etc. etc. I want this kid's car so bad, it's completely sick. A lot of people around here trick out their cars, but its all show and no go! Not to mention they half way do it. They put a body kit on and drive around with gray primer because they can't afford a paint job. Or drive around with an unpainted kit. No offence to anyone, but I really can't stand that! First off, I agree with the bold print 100% Secondly, that's my point. If everyone around you is all show and no go, then if you go show AND go nobody would expect it, therefor your car would be a sleeper in it's own. Derk_eliso 10-21-2006, 07:35 PM ...Or drive around with an unpainted kit. No offence to anyone, but I really can't stand that! :uhoh: :chair: lol. Christmas money or income tax money.... Plus I need to fix my buckle/wavyness... Btw how did you do that Cody? lol. Here she is...:swear: AHHH!! I'm so jealous :frown: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a175/PropsRI/1282556228_l.jpg DeadBlade89 10-22-2006, 04:15 PM thats a nice celica. the only personal opinion i have about it is that i dont like the front bumper and wheels. otherwise...WOW. Lances133 10-22-2006, 04:35 PM the only personal opinion i have about it is that i dont like the front bumper Yea, that's the celica trd kit DeadBlade89 10-22-2006, 05:09 PM ya...i dont really care for that kit. personally, i prefer this one... http://i13.tinypic.com/2r41un8.jpg now THAT my friends, is a thing of beauty. Derk_eliso 10-22-2006, 05:09 PM amazing. BabyCavyZ 10-22-2006, 07:31 PM yea i said i didn't really like the trd, mainly the front like deadblade said. But that second kit is sick. The trd doesn't look like it lines up and it seems like too much jaggedness to me. And believe me, the sleeper thing doesn't work anymore. and shit, if you can make your car look sick as well, DO ITTTT!! hahah 01Cavy 10-22-2006, 10:33 PM ya...i dont really care for that kit. personally, i prefer this one... http://i13.tinypic.com/2r41un8.jpg now THAT my friends, is a thing of beauty. I agree 100% om that one! The wing has got to go though. No metal wings for me! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
