Questions About 2001 grand cherokee loredorahsjeep 10-16-2006, 12:17 PM I recently purchased a used 2001 grand cherokee loredo. I am having my mechanic do the necessary work. I am going to change the shocks all around and was wondering whether it is ever helpful to change the springs to give it more of a new truck ride. Also I was wondering the best oil and fuel treatment to use since it has 78,000 miles. Any help in the following areas would be much appreciated. 2001 Loredo, 78,000 miles, 6 cylinder engine 4.0 Best Oil Engine or fuel treatment Shocks (should I change the springs also) Brake pads and rotors transmission fluid and filters. Any other info based on the milage would be helpful, Thanks dcx96 11-21-2006, 06:30 PM unless the springs are bent or damaged no need to replace that would be throwing money out the window. best oil at that milage. synthetic any kind pads and rotors. stock is great but brembo slotted and matching pads are awsome but cost a bunch. rahsjeep 11-22-2006, 09:19 AM unless the springs are bent or damaged no need to replace that would be throwing money out the window. best oil at that milage. synthetic any kind pads and rotors. stock is great but brembo slotted and matching pads are awsome but cost a bunch.
