ABS&TC lights on when making left turnsleej 10-11-2006, 01:06 PM Hi, my car is a 2000 cavalier. It's all good until recently :frown: everytime I make a left turn, the ABS&TC lights are on. I have to turn the ignition off, and on again then the lights not on. But next time I make a left turn again, they will be on again. And it's getting worse today, some noises come out. What's the problem? Please help 'cause I know nothing about anything.:crying: Lances133 10-11-2006, 05:04 PM I have that same problem, only my ABS light and ETS OFF lights come on, and it's everytime I make a RIGHT turn lol, I've been asking about this for awhile now and I'm thinking it's a fray or open/exposed ABS wire or some wire behind one of the wheels, or it could also be a speed sensor. jakegday 10-11-2006, 05:52 PM if you have a frayed or open wire, i'd start there but it sounds like a sesnor, particularly an ABS sensor my99cavy 10-11-2006, 10:05 PM Could be a frayed wire or a wire that is being pinched maybe?? leej 10-12-2006, 10:24 AM Many thanks. But what is a fray and what does it do? jakegday 10-12-2006, 10:34 AM a splice, you have the wire itself and its covered in rubber, a fray is when that rubber coating is damaged and the wire is exposed, vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
