just got a century 80gl gasless mig welder for $45 (was $296) brand new because i work at lowes and get good deals on hat we will be non stocking.

anyways i want to know if this is a good welder for general automotive such as exhausts mainly. and can i weld mild steel to stainless or stainless to stainless? if so what kind of wire would i use for each? thanks for your time!

RE:
I dunno about the welder I've never heard of it but anyways you can weld stainless to mild steel you need stainless wire like 304L or 316L alloy depending on what type of stainless your welding, if your welding mildsteel to mild steel you need mild steel wire it has a copper color, your better off getting a gas mig welder if you want good strong welds but I've never used a gasless mig welder so I dont know I hope this helps you
