You won't sell it for 22k unless you find someone who really wants the car. It's only a 93, try lowering the price like 18k or less.

22k is reasonable for what he's asking, the car has low mileage and modifications that raise the value of the car

plus its competition yellow mica, which is the rarest color rx7

actually mods lower the value of a car.

People might not want it because they might think that it has been raced, because it has the twin turbo setup and a intercooler, the carbonfiber hood also is a dead give away that it might have been raced plenty of times in it's 40k miles. The person that's going to look at it doesn't know if it was or was not raced or if the driver hammered on the engine or not, it's all a big gamble when you have those modifications.

Read carefully. I said he's done modifications that raise the value of the car.

The intercooler is essentially a reliability modification, the buyer knowing the car is going to be more reliable to him makes it worth more does it not?

Not to mention the 99 spec tails.

The whole "modifications lower the value of the car" stigma is only true of people outside of the enthusiast ring. I'm talking about this car as if I were an RX-7 owner buying this RX-7 (this is the RX-7 forum, amirite?). If I were your mother trying to purchase this vehicle, I'd agree with you.

He never really said what the twin turbo upgrade was, but the car comes stock with twin turbos, and if he did the 99 spec turbo swap, that's considered a reliability mod too, since the later turbos had better heat dissipation and a revised vaccum setup.
