I was thinking about new cam gears for my 96 neons. I was looking at the Unorthadox Racing Adjustable Cam gears and i was wondering if that would be a job that I would be able to do in my garage or whether i would have to take thm to a mechanic. And the other thing I was wondering was whether the Magnaflow Catback exhaust gave a neon a high raspy rice burner type of sound or more of a low and deep sound

You can install the cam gears yourself, but I'd recommend the AEM ones and the magnaflow exhaust sounds nice, not ricey.
