1997 pontiac sunfire se 2.2 manual tranny
clutch and shaking problems are unrelated but both very annoying.

Clutch:
It has alot of freeplay in the pedal. engages almost at the floor. Fluid is dark colored. It gets bad on long trips (2hrs plus) I suspect air in the fluid. How do you bleed it?

Shaking:
ABS breaks are terrible but I also get shaking if i hit a bump on the road going more than 45 miles per hour. I feel the rear boucing around and I have to correct steering to keep'er on the road. Is it a suspension problem or ABS kicking in without me touching the brake pedal?

o yea, is it weird that if I have my radio out air from AC shoots out from it?

PS don't buy a sunfire

If the system uses an external slave cylinder and throwout fork (like the Getrag transaxles) there should be a bleeder screw right on the slave. If it has an internal slave cylinder, the only method is to break the line loose at the slave cylinder and bleed it to that point, then pray.

As for the shaking and loss of control after encountering bumps, it sounds like you need to spend some time under the vehicle, inspecting suspension bushings, the steering, and suspension links. Something is not right, and it sounds dangerous.

AC leaking from the radio opening? You're on you own with that one.
