86' no power to cabbucketabolts 10-05-2006, 01:21 PM I have a 1986 ford f150 with with a carberated 302 and wiring problems. i have no power going to the cab of the truck. no lights, radio, turn signals, fuel pump or igntion switch, no nothin. i have replaced many fuseable links and tested many circuits. the only place i do have power to is the starter solinoid, and when i cross the teminals of the solinoid the engine will crank. but without power to any of the assecories including the fuel pump it will not start or run. please help me Thanx, Dylan mustangmike351c 10-05-2006, 07:30 PM make sure the battery and all of the power wires are on the same side and the wire to the starter is all by its self on the other side of the stater solinoid. bucketabolts 10-06-2006, 11:56 AM ya i made sure thanx thou rhandwor 10-13-2006, 04:12 PM Did you check the ignition switch it is on the column about 12 to 18 inches down from the key. Probe the large wires coming out for voltage. Their are some links by the solenoid. Their should be some by the starter. Their should be a relay and a ground wire in the right side kick panel.
