I just got a 2004 GC about a week ago it has 59k on it. When I drive it on the highway for a while and then get off the highway and come to a stop the car dies. It drives in town fine and has no problems. Sometimes while driving on the interstate it will sputter as well. It has always started right back up but the engine completely shuts off.

Does it ever have any problems restarting?

Sounds like the IAC Valve is not opening to allow air into the engine to keep it running.

I never really had problems restarting it but i took it to the shop lat thursday and they replaced the crankshaft sensor after it wouldn't start. It worked fine for about 60 miles then it died again. I then cleaned out the throttle body and replaced the Idle Air Control motor and it drove fine for about another 45-50 miles and then when I went to start it, it wouldn't start. It gave me error codes P0122 so do you think it is a bad TPS?
