'99 zx2 get spark and fuel doesn't start

i have a '99 zx2 vct engine , i changed the flex plate becouse broke off , chop off the crank position sensor , i replaced it , and puted a new timing belt , and the car doesn't start
It has fuel , spark , compresion (127psi) , :banghead: \ still doesn't start , i checked the timming belt , and stil in the marks ( have move the exaust cam back to alingne , remember only moved the cam but no the sprocket this is a vct engine ) ......... Now , the cam and the cranck sensors boths has 2 wires . same color on both , on the cam position has a ground whith the ignition on and the cranck doesn't have anything :screwy: but it has spark !!! :banghead:

ANY IDEAS PLEASE ???

somebody knows what the compresion presure is for a 99 escort zx2 2.0 vct ?? my manual doesn't show , only shows for a 1.8 only

i will appreciate your help.

Not sure of the specifics of the 99.

I will assume you had the spark plugs unplugged or removed at some point... are you sure you reconnected the wires in the correct order?

You wouldn't get spark if the crank sensor wasn't working, and the cam sensor doesn't even come in to play.

Either your timing is not correct or something is not hooked up right.

I want to say it should be 130 or 150 (can never remember)

for the record all zx2's have the same motor

Did you use a cam tool and a timing peg? It's not impossible to set time correctly without them but it is very hard.

thanks everubody for your help , i found the problem on the timming , as markb73 said is very hard to put on time with out those tools but i did it .
