Bought the above model the other day, just noticed it doesn't appear to have any windows  Windscreen and rear windscreen are there, but no windows...

Shot of the transparent sprue linked below. Is this a normal occurance, or have Fujimi elected to have me build this kit with "windows down"? :)

I built one of those many many years ago but it was a reboxed Revell Germany kit, think i have a few parts from it lying around!?

If memory serves me correct there are indeed no side windows.

This is a special version of the common 3.0GT prepared for to be homologated for group A racing in Japan in 1988.Of course , itīs the street version and had some specific aspects such as the tuned engine to 266hp. , a four spoke momo steering wheel and metallic black rims.
It was released with the restyling of the Supra lineup that appeared in Febraury 1986 (A70). It was third generation Supra. Although the first two generations were known in Japan as the Celica XX.
I have this kit also.As well as the `87 Supra 3.0GT Limited from Tamiya.Hereīs a scanning of the dealer brochure of its time.

I have a group A Fujimi version of that kit but IMO it's pretty lacking, no brake discs!!

I think Fujimi wants you to do it as a drift car, but they should of given you "hlaf mast" windows with it :D

Thanks for the info guys :)

Although as the box illustration shows the car with windows, it's a bit strange of them not to even include any...

Will keep you updated with the progress, doing my second, slightly modified, R33GTR atm.
