maf screen removal ?

i tryed removing the maf screen from my 01 gt and noticed no difference also i noticed the thing flows pretty well so i put it back in


thought this would be a good free mod


any comments or somethin i missed

Good move putting it back in. I've never noticed any performance gain with the screen out. It helps smooth and channel airflow to the MAF sensor.

Free mod....lol . :lol: ZZP propoganda.

I have done that awhile back also. But I was an idiot and damaged the screen. What would I be able to use as a replacement?

jbizel, In your profile, your car is listed as an 02, and the part number for the screen is the same between the 99-03 GT and 00-03 GTP models.
