:cry: I did the light test and got codes 12, 43, 55.
I have changed plugs twice and wires once and have replaced the coil pack.
It stills misses at idle. It doesnt seem to be missing when driving, runs fine even with AC on. just when idling. Any ideas!?
I did the seafoam and mmo gas and oil treatment and combustion cleaner.
After I did all that I did a check at autozone and it says muliple misfire cylinder number 4.
I switched the injectors to different cylinder and still shows misfire on number 4 when I had it checked again at autozone.

I know the Seafoam treatment will cause a code 43. Give it some time and see if it goes away. If the engine seems to be running fine, then I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just keep your eye on it.

It runs ok just when idling it jerks or misses. sounds like it is running on 3 pistons. I have put over 1000 miles on the car sinc3e it started and no big difference in power. just shakes car when idling

I took off the throttle body and it was black and coated with grime. Cleaned it and there was oil down in the intake. It would coat my finger it was so much oil. I put it back together after cleaning throttle body and started it back up. It started missing bad. It cleared up after a few seconds and started missing as before. I got to looking around and the hose that runs from pcv vale to the throttle body area was flat. I unpluged the pcv valve and the rpm's revved up. The pcv vavle was fairly clean and rattled, I cleaned it before putting it back on. I sprayed cleaner around the throttle body and intake area and the rpms would increase and the engine would smooth out. Is this a good chance of an intake leaking? and it idles around 1000 rpms, is this to high?
Also today it was going from about 1500 back to 1000 rpms. it was not revving up and down constantly, just randomly.

What kind of plugs did you use?

Well an update for the neon
I pulled of the intake and the gasket was bad, on number 4. I cleaned and replaced the intake and gasket. cleaned the egr tube and put it back together.
it runs great now.
