Tell me how the wheels and tires look i really tried making them look more photolistic jodicious 09-27-2006, 11:05 PM I like them...the Porsche does look nice.... One piece of advice I got from someone awhile ago that really helped in the "realism" of my drawings is not to be afraid of the pencil... He told me to use more drastic contrasts and it will bring the drawing out...press dark...when you want the chrome effect, make sections of it almost black.... Otherwise, very nice... <<Si-Vtec>> 09-28-2006, 06:30 AM i dig the porsche!!! the angle is good and the sideskirts looks great!!! realy tuning style!!! asaenz 09-28-2006, 02:08 PM I like them...the Porsche does look nice.... Yes, more contrast, that is good, have to remember that for my own stuff. Spend more time on your ellipses. Man I wish drawthrough.com had that tutorial up still anyway check is book out How to Draw Cars the Hot Wheels Way (Scott Robertson) and check this site out http://www.sibleyfineart.com/index.htm?tutorial--draw-ellipses.htm Great job man! DP_Design 09-29-2006, 03:42 PM asaenz i got that book :) I find that section drawing so confusing. 69charger426 09-29-2006, 04:42 PM Thanks everyone, the car looks light because the ref pic i had was of a white porsche, and ive been spending alot more time on my wheels/tires and elipses, whats stilll wrong with them i cant see anything. DP_Design 10-04-2006, 10:40 AM It's your front wheels, they seem to stretched and flat on the paper. Thats what i think is going on.
