It's either leaking out or it's being burned. Is there any smoke when you start up or accelerate? Is there any oil on the ground where you park? How many miles on the car?

theirs 2k+ miles on it and their are no major leaks, ive never seen any smoke but i can kinda smell burnt oil when driving so maybe it is being burned, but how?

If it leaking on to the manifold or exhaust, it will burn.

Let's go back to this original question and refine it a bit. How many miles does it take to use a quart?
You mention "2K+" miles. Do you mean 200,000+ miles? If so, that is a lot of miles, even for a Camry and you may just be burning a bit.

I have almost 215,000 on my 89' Camry and it burns/consumes about 1/2 quart in a month. Lately I've been using Mobil 1 5W-30 weight oil and for about a month the consumption appears to have stopped. On my next service I intend to look for any oil pan or valve cover gasket going bad and have them replaced. Otherwise the average is about 1 quart per month. Your not too far behind me so no matter what expect some oil consumption by now. Just keep wtcjing your condition.
