Scion XB 2nd ChopPlasticmodeler702 09-24-2006, 08:00 PM Ok here is the scion xb... I started it last weekend and finished this weekend. It is my second chop. I used the variations for the color, but it was really pixily so I airbrushed everything except the big white highlight that runs across the side of the car. I dropped it, put a few decals on it, shaved the side signals off, and put a set of rims on. I also was going for the carbon fiber hood, but on one of the steps I messed around with it, and I thought it looked sort of neat with the white hood, something different.... My opinion :grinyes: I was going after a sort of clean look.... Thanks for any c and c.... EDIT- I didn't include the original picture because most know it is in the contest scion xb thread. #1 http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g52/Plasticmodeler702/Graphics/Scion%20XB/05ScionTcchopped3greenclear.jpg #2- I couldn't resist... http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g52/Plasticmodeler702/Graphics/Scion%20XB/05ScionTcFinal.jpg Stingray 60 09-27-2006, 10:08 PM Let me be the first to post on thar after three days! I like the first one better. Nice job on the lower half.. the orig is pixelated and hard to deal with and you found a way.. :) (I'm in the contest too and havent gotten anywere as I'm short on time) But anyways Good luck! Plasticmodeler702 09-27-2006, 11:14 PM Thanks, it gets even worse when you use the variations tool. I know the rims are a bit blurry but I am already learning a ton.. Right now I have in the works a 07 tahoe with a escalade front end..... Lowered, blue or red... Its going to be tight! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
