Has this happened to you?BullShifter 09-01-2002, 12:18 AM Today I was at the track, beating on my car for a few hours. On the way home my idle was acting a little funny. I shifted into 3rd & the car just stopped running. After a quick diagnosis I found the screw for the rotor just chilling in my distrib cap. Has this happened to any one else? I plan on removing the rotor tomorrow & applying thread lock to the rotor screw to prevent from happening again. Sure in wasn't fun breaking down in the middle of no where with out any lights. Thank god for the tool set & flash lights I had in the car.:bandit: :smoka: :smoker: :smoker2:  kidrocket 09-01-2002, 07:25 PM cant say ive had that happen to me 88_SC_CRX_Si 09-01-2002, 08:59 PM Na, thats not all that unusal... hehehe Probably already know this, bbuuutttt be real carful with that screw. It is really easy to strip out the threads... Put it in gear and roll it backwards/forwards until you can get a straight shot at the hole. Sooo, you have a better working position, on getting it back togather... "Noth'in like Induction..." ;) VelocityTrends 09-02-2002, 10:54 PM Make sure you use the same one or get one from honda! Don't just use any screw if that ones doesn't seat in or you strip it! www.velocitytrends.com http://www.onlineshowoff.com/member/car/VTCCDRAG098353E/P7270032.jpg vBulletin®, Copyright ©2010, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
