You may also want to look into adjusting your kickdown band. LT-Z71drvr 09-26-2006, 09:14 AM figured out what was wrong, it was way over full of fluid:frown: whoever had the car b4 me over filled it coulda done some damage but i think i caught it soon enough thanks for the advice das2123 09-26-2006, 09:26 AM Too much fluid isn't a good thing. Did the fluid smell burnt any? LT-Z71drvr 09-28-2006, 11:46 AM no, it wasnt, seems to be shifting better now thanks again bafflel 10-22-2006, 08:11 PM I have the same problem.. levels are ok,, type of fluid in trans is ??? Also when I step on the gas peddle it gets hard about 1/2 way down, if I really press hard like to pass it jumps out of drive.. I disconnected the kickdown cable at the throttle base and now the gas peddle works fine.. would this damage the transmission? still have the cold shifting problem. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
