88 pathfinder has a vg30i engine in it and want to put something newer.....preferably a vg30e anyone know if that would be easy to do or other options i might want to consider ty......transmission might be a part of swap

Harness will be different along with ECM. I loved those 2 door Pathfinders and a Vg30E would be a nice fit for it. But a VQ would be nicer.

If you wanted to change the Engine and the Trans from a newer model , try to get the Harness and the ECM with it ...GL

Exactly. If you want a VG30E in it, you'll need to swap engine wiring and the ECU at a minimum.
