My Exotic Automotive Artowrokfast2ghl 09-19-2006, 01:47 AM Hi all, Im new to the forum, looks like a cool place!:grinyes: I have noticed all the excellent artwork, and photo mods on here, some of you guys are really good. I thought maybe I'd throw my two cents in as well. Below is some of my stuff, two Ferrari's, two of my faves! Check it out tell me what you think. Both the Enzo and Rossa Corsa (red) F40 are framed and hanging in my house! They are created using a combo of Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe Illustrator 10, and my own drawing skill using a PC TABLET. C+C welcome, infact encouraged... Thanks Rob __________________________________________________ ______________ http://exotoart.com/images/ENZO_FINAL_PRINT_BLKBLK_S.jpg http://exotoart.com/images/F40_FINAL_PRINT_SilverRims_.jpghttp://exotoart.com/images/F40_FINAL_PRINT_BLK_BLK_S.jpg G-man422 09-19-2006, 09:19 AM Beautiful work. I just wish that watermark didnt have to be there. but other than that. i love them. me too but its really nessasary to do that on the internet, you never know! anyways that is simply stunning! i love the reflections and the realism! 10/10 AGNRDARNETW 09-23-2006, 08:54 AM You forgot to edit the engine in the F40 pics. It would look much better if you made the engine look like the rest of the car, instead of leaving it like it was in the original picture. fast2ghl 09-23-2006, 08:23 PM You forgot to edit the engine in the F40 pics. It would look much better if you made the engine look like the rest of the car, instead of leaving it like it was in the original picture. That was my first attempt. I wasn't sure I could pull off recreating that part when I drew it so I just edited the original photo part in there instead. My newer works are all done by hand using the PC Tablet and the original pic for reference. Im working on a 2004 Lamborghini Murcielago right now. Its coming along nicely! Thanks for your comments. <<Si-Vtec>> 09-30-2006, 02:12 PM wow!!! you rock!!!! that looks realy realy good!!! what did u use? fast2ghl 09-30-2006, 08:29 PM wow!!! you rock!!!! that looks realy realy good!!! what did u use? Thanks alot man! I use Adobe Photoshop CS2, and Adobe Illustrator 10. I also use PC Tablet to draw the cars first, then i paint them in Photoshop... I have been doing this for about 5 years, but only recently considered selling my work on my website, I also do hand drawing in pencil, and when I have some of those done that I am working on, I'll post those hear for you guys to view as well. I'm currently working on a Lamborghini Murcielago in the computer art, and a Ferrari Enzo in pencil. Anyway Thank you so much for your comments. :grinyes: fast2ghl 01-01-2007, 11:45 PM something new in the works.......... http://exotoart.com/Murcielago_Front_LINE_SAMPL.jpg AND http://exotoart.com/Pininfarina_Ferrari_P4_5_FI.jpg Tamar 01-02-2007, 12:40 AM Hey Man Great work. like how you "interpreted" the chrome rims, nice combo of Ill vector lines and freehand PS colors.....less is more. One thing though..whit such strong reflections on the body work, and the dark surrounding you've used for your backdrop..... I nice dark reflection on the side window would make it blend even more with the total car Keep it up, P.S i wouldn't bother to much about sample watermarks. @ 72dpi its no threat to the high res images you're planning to sell. And it makes looking at your work on the web a lot nicer :naughty: Dboy23 01-02-2007, 08:46 PM Nice man can't wait to see more work. fast2ghl 08-31-2007, 02:35 AM Finally more updates coming your way.... Its been a while since I've been around here but I have some more work to upload for you guys to view! I'm currently working on finishing my Lamborghini Murcielago that I started earlier in the year... As well I have posted a picture of the final version of a commissioned work I did for a customer with his Noble M12 GTO 3R. Enjoy! http://exotoart.com/Murcielago_Front_PREVIEW.jpg http://www.exotoart.com/commissions/images/FINAL_COMP_M12GTO_FINISH.jpg GirlBear 09-01-2007, 02:22 AM Is ur work that good that u need to protect it with WATERMARKS??? really??? Get over urself. u did an awesome job. but water marked. i dont think so. sorri just my opinion. fast2ghl 09-01-2007, 07:50 PM Is ur work that good that u need to protect it with WATERMARKS??? really??? Get over urself. u did an awesome job. but water marked. i dont think so. sorri just my opinion. Who the hell do you think you are??? Seriously, what the hell is all this attacking for?? I TRIED TO HELP YOU OUT SINCE THAT'S WHAT YOU ASKED FOR YOU IDIOT!! Is your work that good that you need to post it here??? I think its a pretty good attempt, but it is NOT great. Yes my work is that good, and yes it does need to be watermarked. You know why because I sell it for BIG MONEY thats why, and I don't want assholes like you stealing it. The lambo will sell for around $400USD, and trust me, I have many clients, I've just started building my website, thats why its taking a while for stuff to show up..... So thank you very much, by the way great job keep it up, but you've got a long way to go before you become GOOD! http://forums.streetfire.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=28454&stc=1 http://forums.streetfire.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=28395&stc=1 GirlBear 09-02-2007, 01:54 AM i may very well be an asshole. but to call me a thief. to say ur protecting ur stuff from me? thats a bit out of line. but i was also a real asshole 2 u. so can we shake hands and call a truce. fast2ghl 09-03-2007, 07:38 PM sounds good to me :) Zammo 09-04-2007, 04:15 AM nice work but ahhmmmm who the hell buys that shit for $400US cause i could pump that shit out daily and would love nothing more that to PS all day and night for it fast2ghl 10-18-2007, 11:12 PM nice work but ahhmmmm who the hell buys that shit for $400US cause i could pump that shit out daily and would love nothing more that to PS all day and night for it Ummmmm, alright, lets see you do this then? I have no idea why I'm being slammed for my work all of a sudden on this forum, but this is just sad..... And it's none of your business who pays me the money for it, the fact is I'm making money from this, and you aren't, at least you haven't told me you are, and if you are great stuff, I'd love to see what you can do! Now for my update, I'm working on this Murcielago right now, soon to finish, enjoy! http://exotoart.com/Murcielago_Front_PREVIEW_WM.jpg Dboy23 10-19-2007, 09:16 PM Don't listen to him, he's just jealous that he's not making money off it, your works great love to see more. drunken monkey 10-20-2007, 12:21 AM just one thing. if you're drawing those images from a photo source that you did not personally take (or that the client did not take), then you may be commiting a copyright breach. Be careful about that especially if you doing this on a professional level. fast2ghl 10-20-2007, 05:34 PM Yeah thanks for the comments, and about the copyright warning, yeah I'm aware of that, all the pictures I've used so far have been either granted permission or taken by clients, I have a source that allows me to use his images.... But thanks for the warning man :) fast2ghl 10-20-2007, 07:50 PM Below is the finished front half of this lambo work i'm doing right now, next up is the rear. Enjoy! http://forums.streetfire.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=31996&stc=1 drunken monkey 10-25-2007, 03:53 PM So, what's the difference between this and the original photo? fast2ghl 10-25-2007, 09:26 PM well nothing yet as it's not completed, but thats like asking what the difference between the original photo and a painted atrowrk that looks real is... The difference is I made it, and in doing that I can rework the car to take out blemishes, and of course size it, and insert it into any scene or wherever I want, but again, theres nothing to different right now because I'm not yet done :) 600sel 11-19-2007, 04:16 PM Who is the real asshole? The one yelling after getting critism or the one who wants a truce after being yelled at? Not to offend you guys but there are plenty of online tutorials how to vectorize photo's. fast2ghl 11-19-2007, 04:39 PM So your point is? I agree there are many online tutorials on how to vectorize stuff, but while the information may be there, not alot of people can do it and do it well.... And the argument was short, I was taken off gaurd by the way that the poster attacked my work right after I had finished giving him/her help on one of their threads..... That being said I still don't get your point with that post? Please elighten me.. Oh yeah and thanks for saying we both suck (funny you tried to cover that up after the fact but I get an email everytime stuff is posted and of course it sent me the original message) I'm guessing by you re-working the message you either knew it wasn't true, or your afraid of what I might have said to you.... Well don't be buddy, cause I'm not mean, I'll just take it that you think we (as in me and the other poster I mentioned) are awesome! fast2ghl 11-24-2007, 12:54 AM 2003 DINAN MINI Cooper S WIP This is something I have been hacking away at for pretty much the whole day now, I have been working on it since about 3:30PM today.... And this is where I'm at right now. I have almost all the body done, I need to continue blending the reds together and stuff, and then its onto the windows and lights etc.... After this angle is completed its onto the side/front view on the upper left of the paper.... I plan to have the MINI logo on the top right and the large image that I'm working on now will be running along a road as you may be able to tell by the moving wheels! Created on 14x17 sheet of 65lb artist paper and drawn out using Staedtler mechanical pencil 0.5mm HB lead and colored using Prismacolor Pencil Crayons. Anyway enjoy, and C+C is welcome :) http://exotoart.com/dinanminiS_preview800.jpg vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
