so heres the deal... before i bought the car my buddy took the trunk lid off of mine (it had a spoiler and he wanted it on his rb20 coupe) so he put the trunk lid off of his onto mine (no spoiler, the way i like it) the problem is, the lid on my car now used to have a spoiler, until the kid shaved it and patched up the holes.. he welded the middle hole but the 2 sides were bondo'd because he couldnt reach the holes through the metal structure shit (cant remember the word for it lol). i know you can cut this "structure shit" out of the inside of your hood, but could i do it on my trunk lid? id like to get all the bondo off, fill in the hole with a weld and just do it right. this shouldnt affect anything right?

yea thats how i feel. I used to hate the coupes. Then i bought one and i liked the fact that there was a back to it, not all open when the seats are out. i think i just dont like the one-via look we only got in the states. It just doesnt flow that well to me compared to the actual silvia body style. But a hatch looks sweet just lowered with a decent shine on the paint and wheels. I may buy my bros hatch just because thats what i started out with. I have to fix the whole front end and paint it anyways so i could get it cheap. Plus i have spare shit i could put on it.

i feel the same way about the one-via thing... the popup headlights belong on a hatch (obviously, they started on the 180sx) and the silvia front end defintely runs better with the car on the coupe. one thing i did see a while ago was Enjuku Racing's S13.4... i dont know if you've seen it or not, but i like the way the kouki front runs with the boxy body of the coupe. not my first choice, but it doesnt look bad IMO.
