2002 Alero, ABS Sensor

I noticed a wire harness hanging close to the ground next to my front wheel on the driver side. (Hence, the reason my ABS light stays on.)

I have wire strippers/crimpers. How can I repair/reconnect the wires so the abs sensor is operational? Is the sensor viewable when taking off the rotor?

Now, the wires seem to have been pulled at the little 'rubber seal' at the inner wheel...

If I remember correctly, the sensor is built into the hub. If you have enough wire sticking out, you can try to splice/solder them back together, otherwise you'll need to replace the hub assembly.

Can't remember right off hand if it's built in or not - it is on my Bravada, and I had to replace a hub bearing on that. The dealer replaced the hub bearing on my Alero when it was still under warranty.

It seems the wires are cut 'flush' at the hub. I'll try cutting away the rubber surrounding the wire strands, maybe I can pull enough out to splice.

Thanks for the information.
