1997 Bravada problems

Hey everyone, I'm new to the sight. I have a couple things going wrong with my Bravada and was hoping someone could help.
1. My key gets stuck in the ignition when I turn the car off. Have to mess with the shifter or turn the wheel to get it to come all the way back to pull the key out.
2. My car is having issues with not wanting to start. Half the time it will and the other half it wont. It's very irritating. I have had the battery checked and it's a good one. There was some corrosion on one of the battery connecters so I relaced that and it has been starting up for the last couple days with no problems. Today it went to not starting again. Had to hook the jumper cables to it to get it to start.
Was also wondering if these two issues had anything to do with each other.
Thanks for reading and I hope someone can help out.

Does the starter engage and turn the motor over or do you just hear a "click"?

I don't hear anything except what sounds like the fan...

My battery shows 12.65 volts on a digital voltmeter.
If your battery was leaking acid, it'll keep leaking and needs replacing.

if it starts when you jump it, and the battery tests good then you have a bad battery connection or something left on that is drawing the battery down.
