Acceptable voltagebedpan 09-13-2006, 06:14 PM I have a '94PA for about two weeks now and I notice that sometimes the votage gauge is straight up at 13 and sometimes it is a notch or two higher on the gauge scale. ( i don't know what the scale is because there is an uneven seperation between notches from 13 to 18) Is this something I should worry about or is there an acceptable range? It is a steady voltage for the duration of the engine running, regardless of where it reads, it does not fluctuate while driving unless I use the turn signal. HotZ28 09-13-2006, 06:25 PM A good alternator will charge in the range of 13.8 to 14.5 volts! I don’t think you have anything to worry about!:grinyes: bedpan 09-13-2006, 08:06 PM Thank you, sir! This is one fantastic forum. Bassasasin 09-13-2006, 10:32 PM I agree.. mine fluxuates a bit too. Theres a warning light near the guage. For future reference.
