How the hell do you losen up the belt on power steering pump to take belt off. HELP

There's a tensioner on the pump bracket. Look through the passenger's side fenderwell or pull the skidplate from underneath and you'll have access to it. Removing the wheel/tire helps with fenderwell access.

Remove the fan shroud.
2.

Unfasten the nut from the center of the pump pulley.

Use the drive belt as a brake to keep the pulley from rotating.

3.

Remove the drive belt.
4.

Remove the pulley and the bracket from the pump shaft.
5.

Detach the intake and outlet hoses from the pump reservoir.

Tie the hose ends up high so the fluid cannot flow out of them. Drain or plug the pump to prevent fluid leakage.

Remove the bolt from the rear mounting brace.
7.

Remove the bracket bolts and then remove the pump.

To install:

Install the pump and tighten the pump pulley mounting bolt to 23-31 ft. lbs. (31-42 Nm).

Adjust the pump drive belt tension. The belt should deflect 8-10mm under thumb pressure applied midway between the air pump and power steering pump.
10.

Fill the reservoir with Dexron®II automatic transmission fluid. Bleed the air from the system.

BLEEDING

1.

Raise the front of the truck and support it securely with jackstands.
2.

Fill the pump reservoir with Dexron®II automatic transmission fluid.
3.

Rotate the steering wheel from lock-to-lock several times. Add fluid as necessary.

Never hold the steering wheel in the lock position for more than 15 seconds.

4.

Repeat Step 3 until the fluid level in the reservoir remains the same.
5.

Start the engine. With the engine idling, turn the steering wheel from lock-to-lock several times.
6.

Lower the front of the truck and repeat Step 5.
7.

Center the wheel at the midpoint of its travel. Stop the engine.
8.

The fluid level should not have risen more than 5mm If it does, repeat Step 6.
9.

Check for fluid leakage.
