2000 Amigo Rough Ride69Bear 09-12-2006, 01:14 AM I am a new user and searched on this topic. I found one posting that never was answered so I will try. I have a 2000 Amigo 4x4 3.2L V6. It seems to me that the suspension on my vehicle is "extremely" hard riding, even for an off-road vehicle. I have never taken the vehicle off-road but typically do city driving. I feel every pothole and/or speed bump on the road 4 times rougher than any vehicle I have ever owned. It sometimes seems as if the body wants to disengage from the chassis at times because of the roughness. Are there any adjustments or items that I need to check for wear? Thanks in advance for any advice. Bear amigo-2k 09-12-2006, 08:52 AM If you still have the orginal shocks change them out. I replaced mine with Monroe Sensatracks and it made the world of difference (see the faq's for more info). 69Bear 09-13-2006, 02:43 AM I replaced the factory shocks with Monroes just before I shipped it overseas 2 months ago. It did seem to help some but it still seems pretty rough riding. Maybe it's something I just have to live with..... amigo-2k 09-13-2006, 08:37 AM Well it is a full frame truck, so it will ride like one. What is your tire pressure at? You'll have a softer ride if you keep it at about the factory 26 psi. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2013
