drag shocks on streetjaspermaggie 09-09-2006, 09:38 AM I am looking at a set of lakewood shocks 70/30 front and 50/50 rear. I know how they work transfer to read all that but unsure how it is on the street just driving. So the 70/30 will lift 70 percent up and compress 30. Will the car just ride rough or will it sway move around be unstable? I know benifits at track but what is the drawback on street? It is a 55 chevy 3182 lbs the car is not a turn carver now or ever. Thank's 1986Z28 09-11-2006, 11:03 AM i had a firebird with 90/10 and it rode like crap, dont know about the 70/30's though bad360rt 09-12-2006, 01:13 PM I run QA1 90/10's up front and 50/50's in the rear, but they're 12 way adjustable, so I stiffen them up for the street and they're fine. Non adjustables would probably suck on the street. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
