Starter TroubleAngelboy 08-28-2002, 07:58 AM Hey fellas, This is my first post so please be gentle......... Ive just bought a '92 S2 and somethings buggin' me about it. When i turn the ignition key the car seems to take ages before the motor kicks in. When it does it's sweet as a nut but starting it sounds like a 40 year old car. It has 2 Porsche immobilisers fitted (Factory one and an additional Porsche dealer one) and the guy I bought it off says most 944's with immobilisers have this problem. The battery charge seems fine when the car is running. I want to turn the key and let the beast kick into life STRAIGHT away!!! Is this possible? What d'ya reacon? Anyone have (had) a similar problem? Cheers Fellas :bloated: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
