My 2000 OEM BF Goodrichs (265/70/15) are in need of replacement. I am considering the Nokian Vatiiva mainly because I have the Nokian WRs on my Subaru Outback and have been very pleased with them. Does anyone have experience with the Vatiivas or recommendations for alternatives?

I don't really do too much in the way of "serious" off roading but spend a fair amount of time on roughish fire roads in the summer. This is my wifes vehicle and I am mainly concerned with her safey in snow/ice/rain.
