I just got a 99 Accord 4 cyl and at like 2000rpm chuggs at low rpm and acts like it is loading up. What sensors and stuff should I check or replace. It has 97,000 miles on it. I am going to change the spark plugs out today. And probably the fuel filter some time this week. What else could be causing this? Where are the iat sensor and the mas sensor located? Can they be cleaned?

I changed the sparg plugs. It had some bosch platinum plus 4 or whatever they are. I put ngk v-power back in and it seems to be running better. I will take it out tomorrow and try it out some more.

Ok, I took it out and drove it some more tonight and it doesn't chugg now. So we will see when it gets hot tomorrow.

Disconnect or clamp the vacum line to the egr valve and see if the problem goes away when you drive the car. . Partially clogged EGR ports could cause the problem.
