Okay, so I was wanting to know what kinds of skylines you can bring into the US and what years and how much it would cost for customs and shipping it into the US. I can get a skyline easy but...how much exactly would it cost to actually get one into the US...and what years are you able to bring in? Thanks for the help!

None! Unless it was illegal, in that case all.

Sad but true. Currently, there are no Registered Importers able to legalize a Skyline GTR, and only select years of the R33 model are even allowed to be imported.

Best bet is trying to find a MOTOREX's car that is currently legal, but the prices are pushing six figures. There are also a number of illegal kit cars and the like out there, but they are a huge gamble.

TIP# 1: The cheapest way to own a skyline is to move to Japan and buy a used R32 GTR for $6,000 - $10,000 USD and drive it over there. You can find Japanese companies hiring English teachers for $30,000 a year starting salary. I think there are few requirements other than being able to speak English well. Or if you have a Bachelors degree you can get a job teaching in the DoDs (military base) school system.
