That is good! Did you create all of that from scratch? That's a very sexy car man. The only thing I see wrong is some of the smoothing is a little choppy (like the topside of the front fenders in the 2nd picture)... Damn that's good. I've never heard of Rhino before, is it at all similar to 3d studio? And also, how much does it cost? Wyatt 08-26-2002, 08:52 PM www.Rhino3d.com its more like AutoCAD than 3dstudio MAX. (about the edges) yeah the Nurbs were not adjusted to higher poly count yet in 3dsmax. will fix later,, just testing texture for now. student version goes for around 150 bucks and the normal program goes for around 600 bucks, not bad compaired to others. thanks for the input and liking. Wyatt 08-26-2002, 08:54 PM oh yeah its all my own,, just made on a weekends freetime,, about 6 hours of modeling a about 6 to tweek the paint materials and such. gotta get the lighting to work out better. but I'm working on another new design not solid yet,, but this basicly what I'm after http://205.122.23.229/eighthdecay/car-renders/Infra-sketch2.jpg - http://205.122.23.229/eighthdecay/car-renders/Infra-sketch.jpg Styxnpicks 08-26-2002, 11:50 PM AutoCAD huh?? thats what I'm doing in school, I might have to look into some new software BeEfCaKe 08-27-2002, 02:36 PM I've use AutoCAD for drawing buildings/mechnical parts/model cars, and then transfer to 3dmax for additional work(texturing), but i have yet to try drawing stuff like that.. very nice work.. I'll also try Rhino3d later.. is it like AutoCAD in which u can type in commands?(This is waht i find really speeds up operation by folds when u're drawing complex stuff) Graphik Styles 08-27-2002, 04:40 PM damn man those pictures were amazin...... beav2k2 09-04-2002, 12:03 PM thats some amazimg work. how much time did it take you? Wyatt 09-04-2002, 12:20 PM yup just like autocad's command line. also snaps to endpoints and the rest of the autocad basics, ortho grid etc it took me about 8-12 hours to make on a weekend. thanks guys, I've won 2 competitions with it so far,, just little internet ones. I also made another car-design for Motor Trend MAgazine competition, will see how that goes in a month or so. I updated my website, about 6 newer cars. *Cru_Thik* 09-21-2002, 02:00 AM dat shits bangin!!...HOTNEZZ ! Graphik Styles 09-21-2002, 09:09 AM yo do u know where i could download that program from cause the stuff you created looks TITE!!!!! jsb88 10-08-2002, 01:28 PM It looks like a 2004 TVR...
