how to change coil pack on 98 ford taurus?Battista71803 08-30-2006, 07:50 PM I have a98 ford taurus and the #2 and #6 cylinder are missfiring. I took it to a shop and they told me it was the coil pack. I was wondering if anyone knew how to change or where I could find out how to change it. We need to know if it is a 24 valve 3.0L or the regular 3.0L engine. The regular 3.0L has the coil pack right there on top and cannot be missed! All the spark plug wires attach to it.
