Is there a reset switch for the fuel pump on the 89?
I think most late model cars have one that trip in the event of a crash.
If there is one, where is it?
Thanks.

There is not one on your Pathfinder, sorry.

Thanks for the reply.
Actually it's not my truck. It belongs to a friend who is pretty good at fixing things, and he can hear the relay operate, and has checked for voltage at the pump and isn't getting any. Is there a fuse or fusible link between the relay and pump? Or is there a history of the relay operating but the switch contacts not making the connection?
Thanks in advance for any info you might have.

There shouldn't be anything between the relay and the pump. First swap relays to see if that fixes the problem. If not, time to get underneath and check the wiring...
