Hot air our the ventsjohnnydragon 08-26-2002, 03:56 AM Is it a common problem in the 2000 to blow hot air our the vents? I saw a fix for it on www.nissan-offroad.net. Has anyone had the problem cured by opening up the holes in the cowl as suggested? Side note, is there a thread re: CalMini and their lift kits? Thanks. A new user, johnnydragon. OffroadX 08-26-2002, 09:26 AM This isn't the correct forum for questions, it's for answers to common questions (FAQ= Frequently Asked Questions) but assuming a moderator will move the thread... Yes, it's a common problem. Yes, I and many others have done it and it works. It's a tedious job, but worth it. Check the Suspension section for lift information. There is a search tool for the site as well, just drill down to the Xterra section before setting it loose or you'll search every make/model on the AF site. Brent philav 08-02-2004, 02:48 PM Looks like the nissan-offroad.net info is off line, does anyone have current info on how to cure this problem? Thanks OffroadX 08-03-2004, 10:41 AM It's just a matter of punching/drilling out the holes in the cowl, or you can have the cowl swapped with a redesigned one per NTB02-031 (Nissan TSB).
