well i ordered my new pulley today and it is expected to be here tomor. i went with the 3.4 since this car is my daily driver, and i also dont want to have to deal with a big KR issue. but anyways the issue at hand is can i use a normal pulley puller? i dont want to buy or rent the special one, so please someone tell me a regular puller is doable, thanks much.

The pulley pullers at the auto parts stores will not work. You need the special pulley puller for the Eaton M90 not only to remove the SC pulley but to help install it. My favorite is the one from Pulley Boys.

I don't know I guess you could try. Anyways, here is a guide with a Pulley Boys Puller for a M90. So maybe this will help you get it configured.
